DAVID BECKHAM SPORTS NEW TATTOO

Wierd couple David and Victoria Beckham

David Beckham has a new tattoo of a guardian angel engulfed in flames covering his right arm. Injured David was cheering Real Madrid the soccer team he is set to leave for Los Angeles Galaxy this summer, when he unveiled the intricate artwork on Sunday. The star's latest tattoo, which took a gruelling six hours to complete, includes words from a Roman poem, which sources believe are a message to people who have slammed his talent.Translated, the words read: "Let them hate as long as they fear." A source said: "David has always used tattoos to express his thoughts. He believes his tattoos can ward off negativity and help him battle adversity." David's career has seen the soccer ace suffer a series of lows. In 1998, he had to endure the trauma of effigies burning in the streets after he was sent off in a crucial World Cup match against Argentina and was blamed for England's exit from the competition. He was also stripped of the England captaincy and dumped from the team last year by new manager Steve McClaren. David, who is married to former Spice Girl Victoria Adams, is said to have been inspired in his choice of tattoo by hit US TV series 'Prison break'. The show's main character Michael Scofield has similar tattoos covering his torso and arms. The 31-year-old father-of-three returned to Manchester to have the work carried out by his favourite tattoo artist, Louis Malloy. The tattoo reportedly took six hours to complete and cost around $1000.00.

CAMPAIGN TO KEEP VICTORIA BECKHAM AWAY FROM LOS ANGELES

The Beckhams are coming anyway !

A US designer has launched a campaign to persuade David Beckham to leave wife Victoria in England.T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan 'Free Becks' have gone on sale in a bid to persuade the soccer star to leave Victoria at home when he joins Los Angeles Galaxy this summer. The T-shirts also carry the message 'Keep Posh' in smaller font, in an apparent plea to her home country. A source said: "Becks is popular over here but Posh is seen as a bit pushy and not really in the same league. It's all a bit tongue in cheek but I don't know if Victoria will see the funny side."The clothes have been designed by Sheila Cameron, who was behind a similar clothing campaign to "free" Katie Holmes from her husband Tom Cruise. Cameron has also designed anti-Posh tracksuit tops, a 'Free Becks' dog outfit and baby bibs, all of which are available on the website www.FreeBecks.com. Most Americans have wholeheartedly embraced the impending arrival of the soccer superstar, with tickets for Los Angeles Galaxy's home games being snapped up by fans and celebrities, including Tom Hanks.

Victoria and David Beckham's dream US home is too expensive. The couple - who are moving Stateside this summer after soccer star David signed a deal reputedly worth 250 million with the Los Angeles Galaxy -were convinced they had found the perfect property, until they discovered it was on the market for a staggering 40 million. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They are careful with investments. When you think what David's deal was to move to Los Angeles Galaxy you would think this was a drop in the ocean for them. Victoria, 32, reportedly put in an offer for actress Meg Ryan's former Bel Air house earlier this month. The sprawling 20 million property has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, a games room, private gym, sauna and swimming pool. The former Spice Girl - who has three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, with David - was said to be "smitten" with the huge garden, which would give her family a great outdoor space.Victoria recently admitted she was finding it hard to spend so much time away from David house hunting in Los Angeles while he sees out his contract with Spanish soccer club Real Madrid. She said: "I would love to wake up with David every morning and have dinner with him every night. The hardest part of my life is when I'm away from David. Everything else I can cope with."
